Dextrous
Reads McLaren.
McLaren is not a car company that went racing. It is a racing company that builds cars. Every road car that leaves Woking carries the philosophy of a Formula One constructor — lightweight, mid-engined, obsessively aerodynamic.
The Artura is McLaren's first series-production hybrid supercar. The 750S is that thinking taken further — more power, less weight, sharper intent. Four machines were read, panel by panel, and translated to leather.
Nothing borrowed. Nothing approximate. Every detail pulled from the machine itself.
Painted
By Hand.
No decal. No print transfer. Each colour is matched to McLaren's own specification, primed, and applied in layers against the geometry of the shoe's last.
The Speed Mark is reproduced freehand. The AF1 sole is left intact — the base earns the paint. Structural integrity is never traded for aesthetic.
750S Grey / Orange · Artura MSO Steel Blue
The Builds.
The Artura Orange takes the car's most dominant colour — McLaren's signature papaya-adjacent orange — and runs it as the primary read across the upper.
The black carbon panels translate to midsole and toe; the Speed Mark is reproduced by hand on the heel counter. Painted freehand against the geometry of the last.
Build 01 · Buildlogy
McLaren Orange
Primary colour pulled from the Artura's exterior. Matched to McLaren's exact specification, layered over a primed leather base.
Carbon / Chrome
Finished to reference the car's carbon body panels and chrome detailing — a cold, technical anchor for the orange.
Speed Mark
McLaren's Speed Mark reproduced freehand. The most recognisable element of the marque — it earns the heel.
Bespoke Tab
Custom leather tongue tab. McLaren × Dextrous. The only point where both identities share space.
Acrylic VIN Tag
High-spec acrylic dubrae, laser-etched with the build's VIN. Tracks the pair in the Dextrous registry.
AF1 — Preserved
The AF1 sole is kept intact. The base earns the paint. Structure is not compromised for aesthetic.
The most technically complex of the four. Seven colours. Glow in the dark. UV-activated elements.
Serpentine tones cross the upper while the honeycomb grill of the Artura's rear architecture is rendered on the laterals — the same structure that channels air to the engine, now in leather.
Build 02 · Buildlogy
Matte Black
Finished in matte black to reference the carbon body panels. The monochrome half anchors the Serpentine.
Serpentine + Flake
Serpentine with metallic flake. Flux Green UV highlights on the lining. Glow-in-the-dark McLaren logo.
High-Spec Acrylic
VIN plate and dubraes cut from green and black acrylic, laser-etched with build details.
Silver & Pewter
Matched to the carbon-ceramic brake rotors. The detailing mirrors the caliper geometry.
Honeycomb
Reflects the honeycomb grill of the Artura's rear. A handcrafted Flux Green caliper creates a 3D effect.
V6 · Artura
Finished in Serpentine, carrying the V6 and Artura logos — the rear-end identity of the car.
The 750S is the cold one. Grey and orange — a combination that takes no position, then contradicts itself.
The grey body reads as restraint. The orange cuts through as performance. The shoe holds the same tension — neither colour wins, both are correct — which is exactly what the car feels like at speed.
Build 03 · Buildlogy
750S Grey
The 750S exterior grey matched as the primary tone. Cool and restrained — which makes the orange deliberate.
Orange Accent
McLaren Orange on the Swoosh — performance cut through restraint. References the brake calipers and aero detailing.
750S Badge
The 750S designation reproduced on the heel, referencing the rear badge placement on the car.
Orange Cuts
Orange panel cuts reference the 750S aerodynamic detailing — tension between grey mass and accent.
Bespoke Tab
McLaren × Dextrous branded tongue tab. Handcrafted leather replacement for the stock label.
AF1 — Preserved
The AF1 sole is kept intact. The base earns the paint — structure is not compromised.
MSO is McLaren Special Operations — the marque's bespoke programme. Steel Blue is an MSO-exclusive colour, not available on standard production cars.
The build references that exclusivity directly. Cold and precise, like the programme itself — a statement of ownership over every detail. Dextrous applied the same logic to the pair.
Build 04 · Buildlogy
MSO Steel Blue
McLaren's exclusive MSO Steel Blue matched across the upper — an MSO-only colour, not on standard models.
Titanium Finish
The Swoosh in titanium, referencing MSO's exposed titanium and bespoke metalwork throughout the car.
MSO Badge
The McLaren Special Operations badge reproduced on the heel — the only build carrying the MSO identity.
Midsole & Toe
Carbon black on midsole and toe references MSO's carbon-fibre interior trim and exposed monocoque.
Bespoke Tab
Custom leather tongue tab with McLaren × Dextrous branding. Handcrafted replacement for the stock label.
AF1 — Preserved
The AF1 sole is kept intact. The base earns the paint — structure is not compromised.

Each pair in this commission exists once. Each VIN is registered, permanent, and tied to a six-point authentication document that ships with the shoe. No reissue. No reproduction.
If it doesn't survive the bench, it doesn't ship.

Every automotive commission begins with a brief. Send the model, the livery, the number, the story. Dextrous reads it and builds it — by hand, once, correctly.
