A custom Puma Speedcat built to translate BMW's HP4 Race — its most precise superbike — into a low-slung, motorsport-driven silhouette. Designed after staring at an HP4 Race for too long.
Painted entirely by hand — BMW Motorsport blue with red accents, an HP4-inspired graphic system, and a leather overlay built up over the formstrip. Finished one pair at a time, in-house.
BUILDLOGY
Leather overlay.
A custom leather overlay is introduced over the formstrip, creating a layered structure that adds depth and dimension to the silhouette.
HP4 graphic system.
This surface becomes the base for the HP4-inspired graphic system — finished in BMW Motorsport blue with red accents. The racing stripe flows across the side, anchoring the entire composition, while "Race" typography reinforces the connection to the HP4 Race platform.
BMW branding.
On the toe, subtle branding ties into BMW's colour identity, while the rest of the sneaker remains restrained — keeping focus on the central graphic system.
Hand-painted throughout.
Every element on the sneaker — from the colour blocking to the HP4 artwork — has been painted entirely by hand, making each pair a unique, one-off piece.
